Workstream: Standards and Certification

Design a holistic OAE standards adoption strategy through the establishment of OAE Standards documents, the creation of a certification process, and establishing a strong standards adoption support eco-system. 

Singapore Standard Code of Practice for Outdoor Adventure Education Activities (SS OAEA)

• May 2024 - Technical Committee's Approval (Completed)

• June to August 2024 - The public consultation for the Singapore Standard on Management for OAE Activities concluded on 15 August 2024. (Completed)

• October 2024 - Standards Committee's Approval (Completed)

• February 2025 - Published (Now available for purchase at Singapore Standards e-shop!)

• Target April 2025 - Workshops on interpreting and implementing at NOEC 2025

Workstream: Professional Development

Design a comprehensive capability development roadmap for individuals and organisations in the OAE sector to address renumeration challenges, establish data-driven competency mapping, and promote the right conditions for professional development in OAE.

Workstream: Safety, Compliance and Promotion

Institute an OAE sector-specific Safety Compliance Monitoring and Promotional Plan by establishing effective compliance monitoring processes and developing a safety promotional plan.
